This Continuity will never ask password and it has a lot of features and for iphone using iphone tethering directly enable the hotspot. And the necessary requirements for this trick are:
The Apple id used for iphone and mac device should be same to share the connectivity. Must installed  iOS 8 in your iphone or ipad. Mac must have OS X Yosemite software also called as Yosemite OS X or new version.check for Bluetooth LE which is the last requirement of this trick. 

Following Are The Steps To Share The Internet Connection With Your Mac Using iphone, ipad:

Step :-1> Download the Instant Hotspot on your iphone or ipad.

Step :-2> Activate the hotspot, go on settings, choose hotspot and turn it ON.

Step :-3> Make it ON your Wifi in Mac device, in the top menu bar their is a wifi finder.

Step :-4> Make it connectivity in between WiFi+Cellular.

Step :-5> In personal hotspots option choose device for connectivity.

Step :-6> Make sure that iphone wifi hotspot is connected, then you can tether in Mac.
