Trick For How To Enable Copy Paste In Command Prompt (CMD)

As We know that by default Windows does not allow us to Copy text and Paste it in Command prompt or Copy text from Command prompt and paste it elsewhere. But Command Prompt provide one option in itself for Copy and Paste text in Windows Command Prompt or in CMD.

Today I am going to inform you about a simple trick to do Copy and Paste texts in Windows Command prompt. Benefits of this trick is that we can copy any command that we find on the internet or from any word or excel file and paste it directly in Command Prompt and execute that command.

Following Are The Simple Step To Enable Copy Paste in CMD:

Step 1: Open Command Prompt or CMD, by searching for command prompt in search option or press Win + r and write cmd in run option then click on OK . 
Step 2: Now right click on the Title of the CMD window and Select Properties. 
Step 3: Pop up Window will come. Now On the Right hand side, Under Edit Options, Check Quick Edit Mode and click OK. 
Step 4: Now you have to just right click using your mouse on CMD to copy any text from command prompt and use CTRL + C keys to copy and paste anywhere you want similarly you can copy text from any where and paste it in CMD using CTRL + V key.
You can also copy File or Folder path and paste it in Command Prompt. Everything that you have to type manually can be copied from somewhere and paste directly to Command Prompt.
